Sam is the cofounder of Data Integrity Services. After working at Lakeland Regional Medical Center for over 20 years, he and Kathy decided to start an IT consulting firm, Data Integrity Services. With a personal commitment to biblically based principles and integrity, he focused on developing a company that employs the best people possible. Now after 20 plus years , he has watched the company grow to become a national presence. Winning numerous national awards, hosting conferences across the US, providing product and services to clients across the US and abroad are all great accomplishments, but the greatest accomplishment is the staff members that have worked with him throughout the years. During his down time, he enjoys camping, hunting and college football with a developing passion to travel with his wife.
Joshua Heard graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 2004 and joined Data Integrity Services (DIS) in 2005. Over the past 20 years, he has grown with the company, starting as an entry-level engineer before advancing to a senior engineering role in 2009. In 2014, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, where he led the Tech Team and helped shape the company’s technical direction and service delivery.
In 2025, Joshua was appointed CEO of Data Integrity Services. With two decades of hands-on experience and leadership, he is deeply committed to carrying forward the vision set by his father, Sam Heard, who founded DIS with a strong focus on integrity, innovation, and client-first service. Honoring that legacy remains a cornerstone of Joshua’s leadership as he guides the company into its next chapter.
He holds multiple certifications in Sophos, MIST, and Kaseya, and remains passionate about technology and cybersecurity. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys the outdoors—whether it’s playing basketball or football, hiking, or boating. He’s also a proud dog dad to “Mika” and a regular at live sporting events and concerts.
Kathy is the cofounder of Data Integrity and since 2008 has worked primarily as the Office Manager directly responsible for all things associated with finance and HR. She enjoys traveling, cooking, all things sports, and the occasional spa day.
Derek joined Data Integrity Services in 2020 to help support Kathy and the back office staff. He enjoys camping and being in the woods but has spent a lifetime around technology. After working for Publix for many years Derek learned the importance of an excellent customer experience. He takes pride in annoying all of the senior Techs.

Joe is a long-time business professional and comes to us from the telecommunications industry where he managed business teams in the Central Florida region. During his time there, Joe trained and deployed many team members and was recognized nationally for his leadership.
He plays an important role at Data Integrity as the Account Executive for the SMB sector. As an Account Executive, his knowledge and experience can greatly benefit companies looking to protect their business assets with our technology partner’s services in an efficient and effective manner.
Joe is a proud father of three and in his free time, he can be caught working out, cooking, playing basketball, playing with his sons’, and watching his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles!
Megan joined the Data Integrity team in 2017, bringing 20 years experience as our Senior Customer Service Specialist.
A Michigan transplant, she enjoys vegetable gardening, cooking, baking, mystery novels, and a variety of crafts including bookbinding and needlework.
With over 20 years of experience in Business Administration, she joined us in July of 2022 and brings support for our technical team.
Jill has two children and loves to spend time exercising and visiting hair and nail salons. She loves to watch medical dramas. She feels incredibly blessed to work with her amazing extended family here at Data Integrity.

Devin has been with the team since July of 2022. Being the youngest technician on the help desk he strives to grow his skills and take on new expirences whenever possible. In his free time he likes to collect Magic the Gathering cards, play Dungeons and Dragons, and compete in competitive video games.
Rudy is a seasoned IT professional with 18 years of experience and a veteran of the US Navy. He is excited to take on new challenges thrown his way and is acts as a Swiss Army Knife.
In his free time, he loves to hang out with friends and family, watching sports teams like the Miami Heat and University of Miami hurricanes.

Mika is the heart and (very small) soul of our team. As a French Bulldog with a big presence and an even bigger fan club, she takes her role as Chief Cuteness Officer very seriously. On any given day, you’ll find Mika napping, offering moral support during meetings, or making her rounds to collect scritches and treats from the team.
Though she doesn’t say much, Mika has a talent for boosting morale with just a tilt of her head or a happy snort. She’s also our top security expert—no squirrel, mail carrier, or delivery box goes uninspected.
When she’s not in the office, Mika enjoys chewing on her favorite toys and playing tug-o-war. She reminds us that work should be fun, snacks are essential, and sometimes the best ideas come after a good nap.
